Designed by Lars Somby and established in 2018, the course offers a balanced mix of technical woods and open gaps, playing to a par 64 with eight par-3s and ten par-4s over 10,059 feet of total distance. The terrain features a flat elevation profile, with wind exposure rated moderate, making it accessible to players of varying skill levels while still demanding precision on tighter holes. Known as a venue for competitive play, Krokhol has hosted the Krokhol Open, with 2025 winners Benjamin Callaway in MPO and Holyn Handley in FPO, showcasing the course’s challenge and appeal to serious competitors. The natural forest setting, combined with fair but OB-heavy fairways, rewards accurate shots over raw power, making it a memorable stop on Norway’s disc golf map.
